Founder & Principal Dentist
Dr. Zeenat Amod — affectionately known as Dr. Z — founded MOD Dentistry with a clear vision: to create a practice where clinical excellence and genuine human connection exist in equal measure.
With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Z brings a rare combination of technical precision and artistic sensibility to every case. She is passionate about smile design, cosmetic dentistry and helping patients see themselves differently. She is also loved but the little ones.
Dr. Z holds a BDS from the University of the Witwatersrand, and is registered with the HPCSA. Upon graduation, she was awarded the SADA Gold Medal for graduating top of her class, reflecting her dedication to excellence from the very beginning of her career.
She has also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the UK, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine. This advanced training allows her to combine clinical precision with a refined aesthetic approach, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, modern treatments focused on both function and natural-looking result

Associate Dentist
Dr. R joined the MOD team bringing warmth, skill and a gentle chairside manner that patients love. She is passionate about preventive care, restorative dentistry and building lasting relationships with every patient.
Dr R holds a BDS and is registered with the HPCSA. She graduated with distinction and received multiple academic awards during her studies, recognising excellence in key clinical disciplines.
She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care for both children and adults, with a particular interest in paediatric dentistry. Her calm, gentle approach helps create a positive and relaxed experience, especially for anxious patients or those visiting the dentist for the first time.
Practice Manager
Sandra Pinto is the operational heart of MOD Dentistry. With years of experience in healthcare administration, she ensures every aspect of the practice runs seamlessly — from scheduling and billing to patient experience and compliance.
Sandra’s warmth and efficiency set the tone from the moment you walk in. She manages medical aid submissions, coordinates treatment plans and makes sure every patient feels welcome and informed.
Dental Assistant & Clinical Co-ordinator
Cornelia Thebe is the calm, capable presence at the chair. As both dental assistant and clinical co-ordinator, she supports every procedure with precision and care — ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout.
Cornelia’s dedication and attention to detail are central to the seamless clinical experience MOD is known for. She is a vital part of the team and a familiar, reassuring face for every patient.
